Century 21 Land of Lakes Welcomes New Agent.

Megan Porth has joined Century 21 Land of Lakes in their Grand Rapids MN office. Megan is a full time realtor and has hit the ground running. She is very detailed oriented and will provide her clients with excellent communication and attention to details. Megan and her husband moved to the area with their daughter and live on one of the many beautiful lakes in Itasca County. She enjoys spending time with her family enjoying kayaking, biking, hiking, fishing and boating on the areas lakes.

The Toys for Tots program in conjunction with the Itasca County Second Harvest Food Bank had their annual toy packaging day last Saturday.

For the second year in a row the agents from Century 21 Land of Lakes participated in packaging toys that will be distributed around the Grand Rapids MN and surrounding towns including Hill City, Big Fork, Nashwauk, Inger and Deer River. We helped packed roughly 1800 packages. Second Harvest distributes the toys and all the food for a Christmas meal to the families that need a little help this time of year. On Monday the agents went back and handed out the packages to the families.

Attention all snowmobile enthusiasts!

Over the last 2 weeks we have received a couple of snow falls of 6". The Marcell snowmobile club has had the trail groomer out and has groomed some of the trails. The lakes are snow covered with ice depths running from 6" to 12" in spots. there is some slush on the lakes. Be care full when riding on the lakes.You can see the springs in places with open water holes around them. Trail conditions will continue to improve as we get more snow.
